Kangerlussaq
Kangerlussuaq is located just North of the Arctic circle. Kangerlussuaq is situated on top of the appropriately named "the long fjord" which is actually 160 kilometres in length.
In Greenland Kangerlussuaq is one of the best places to see and photograph wildlife including arctic fox and reindeer. The region has around 3,500 Musk Oxen originally introduced from the Illoquortoormiut in North east Greenland.
Ideal for hiking and nature trails. Kangerlussuaq is the base of Greenlands major International Airport.
