Hella
This small hamlet originally thought to have been settled by Irish monks and hermits. There are 12 Caves in existence to this day believed to have been used by these same settlers.

Hella is ideal for rafting along the Ranga river and fishing (top Salmon fishing) or horse riding through its fertile landscape.

Other tourist attractions within reach of Hella are Landmannalaugar, Porsmork and Hekla nature reserves.
